Pre-Competitive Swimming 

Session I & II Information

• Swimmers must have successfully completed Minnow YMCA or equivalent swimming lessons.
• Class size is limited to 30 swimmers.
• Developing proper stroke technique for the four competitive strokes will be the emphasis of the Pre-Competitive swimming program.
• Swimmers will be given opportunities to display their technique in pre-competitive swim meets.
• Proper racing starts and turns will be emphasized.
• The Pre-Competitive swimming group will not meet on the following days due to pool conflicts: Monday October 29^th and Wednesday October 31^st.
• Pre-competitive swim meet information will be made available once dates have been finalized. These swim meets are optional.

Session III Information

• Session III is a six week program designed to give swimmers a head start for the summer swimming season.

• Swimmers must have successfully completed Minnow YMCA or equivalent swimming lessons.
• Class size is limited to 30 swimmers.

§         Developing proper stroke technique for the four competitive strokes will be the emphasis of the Pre-Competitive swimming program.

Practice Schedule

§         Monday’s 6:45-7:30pm Indoor Pool, Wednesday’s 6:45-7:30pm Indoor Pool, and Saturday’s 7:30-8:30am Indoor Pool.
